ERIFLEX Products Introduced to EPD by nVENT

EPD NVENT LOGOS

June 2021 – Electronic Power Design would like to thank the nVent and Mayer Electric teams for visiting our office for lunch and an informative presentation on the ERIFLEX low voltage panel components. This was a great opportunity for our team of experienced engineers to learn more about these components and their advantages. At EPD, our team is always on the lookout for innovative technology that allows us to improve the quality and reliability of our control and power systems.

Scott Fenley introduced the ERIFLEX FLEXIBAR to a room of EPD mechanical engineers as an alternative to cables and solid busbars for low voltage industrial power distribution and control applications. Using flexible busbars instead of cables and solid busbars provides a space, weight and cost advantage.  In addition, Flexibar improves system reliability due to its excellent resistance to vibration.

In addition to the ERIFLEX FLEXIBAR, the EPD team was also introduced to low voltage panel components that ERIFLEX has to offer, including power and distribution blocks, insulated braided power conductors, busbar clamps and connectors, grounding straps, grounding bars, and insulators. These components offer various advantages for use in low voltage applications such as switchboards and switchgear.

Due to the many advantages, our mechanical engineers hope to use flexible busbars like the ERIFLEX FLEXIBAR and other ERIFLEX components on future custom or complex projects. One of our main goals at Electronic Power Design is that our controls and power systems are always designed and built to be the best possible solution based on our client’s needs. Using new and innovative products in our systems helps us achieve this goal and best satisfy our customers so they know they can rely on EPD.

Once again, we would like to thank nVent and Mayer Electric for taking the time to host this productive and informative lunch with our team. EPD is always happy to have the opportunity to meet with manufacturers and vendors and learn about the products they offer.
