June 2020 - Another satisfied customer! EPD recently completed a SIVACON S8 Motor Control Center (MCC) lineup for a multibillion-dollar electrical distributor that has over 700 locations in the U.S.A. Soon, EPD will use this SIVACON S8 MCC lineup for an aluminum smelting project overseas. As Siemens’ exclusive SIVACON Technology Partner in the U.S.A, we are one of only two North American manufacturers of SIVACON products.
Our ability to manufacture these products domestically makes it convenient and cost-effective for American companies that need IEC compatible products. Customized to fit your needs
This SIVACON S8 project is composed of 3 lineups. Two of the lineups have a 630 amp main horizontal bus and the other is rated at 800 amps. Other project specifications include compatibility with clients’ power supply of 380 volts AC, 50 Hz, and an enclosure Ingress Protection (IP) of 31. These units are unique because they have an integrated panelboard and a built-in distribution transformer. These specifications allows for a maximally compact design.
IEC 61439-1/2 specification compliant switchgear, switchboards, and MCCs are used worldwide in many mission-critical applications and industries.
